Break Away ("the App") is built and operated by Tou Much LLC ("we," "us," "our"). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version: We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We collect the minimum information needed to deliver the app and process your subscription.
Subscription Data. When you subscribe, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We receive a record of your subscription status and transaction identifiers — we never see your credit card number, Apple ID password, or billing address.
Analytics Data. We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — which categories are popular, session duration, and general engagement patterns. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Device Information. We may collect basic device information (device model, OS version, app version) for crash reporting and performance monitoring.
Local Preferences. Your app preferences (such as selected categories or playback settings) are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your phone.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, health data, contacts, photos, or any other personally identifying information. The app does not require you to create an account.
The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Apple App Store — processes all payments and subscriptions.
RevenueCat — manages subscription status and entitlements.
Firebase (Google) — provides anonymized analytics and crash reporting.
We do not integrate any advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Period.
We may share anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., "40% of sessions are in the Self-Compassion category") for internal analysis. This data cannot identify any individual user.
Analytics data is retained in Firebase according to Google's standard retention policies. Local preferences are stored on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app. Subscription records are maintained by RevenueCat and Apple for transaction and refund purposes.
Break Away is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
You can limit analytics collection by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" or disabling analytics sharing in your iOS device settings. You can delete all local app data by uninstalling the app. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
